Connect Sports Basketball

Connect Sports Basketball was created to foster the development of Christian faith, character and leadership in our youth while teaching the fundamentals of basketball. We introduce basic footwork, dribbling and shooting skills. We discuss common violations. We also teach defense and rebounding, position roles, and the responsibilities of each player. We review traveling, double dribble and palming the ball.

After each game we review game performance, discuss positions on the court and promote skill development. We teach offensive movement and court spacing. Our coaches coach through improvements and encourage skill development. We focus on sportsmanship and team unity.

During training, players develop character and integrity through devotionals from their coach and Connect Sports leaders. Our philosophy is born from the belief that God's great love calls us to compete with integrity and to demonstrate discipline in competition.

Evaluations

Eden United Brethren Church

Evaluations are not a try-out. Every player is placed on a team. Scores help build balanced teams. Bring your child anytime during the evaluation night of your choice. Every player must attend one evaluation.
